The transition from the deep navy to a sophisticated light grey needed to be seamless, and the precise placement of the dark navy, crisp white, and vibrant burgundy stripes demanded fabrics that would maintain their color integrity and sharpness through rigorous wear and washing.
The details are what elevate a prototype. For HV's Sweater, the ribbed collar and cuffs were crucial for structure and fit. We selected a high-quality ribbed knit that offered excellent recovery, ensuring the garment would retain its shape over time. The full-length zipper needed to glide smoothly, a detail often overlooked but vital for user experience. We sourced a durable, yet aesthetically pleasing zipper that complemented the jacket's color palette. Above all, the custom embroidered circular logo, a bold red background with a gleaming gold emblem, was a focal point. Perfecting its execution involved testing different embroidery densities and thread types to ensure the gold emblem shone without appearing cheap.
