Order #168 presented a unique challenge and opportunity: a classic short-sleeved black T-shirt with a striking horizontal stripe detail. KT’s original design called for specific precision in its execution. Our team meticulously translated the concept, focusing on every detail to ensure the final sample was an exact replica of their vision. The core of the garment is a rich, matte black, chosen for its sophisticated, non-shiny finish. This was paramount in selecting the perfect fabric: a blend of 75% Polyester and 25% Elastane at a substantial 230 gsm, offering both durability and a comfortable drape.
The defining feature, the chest stripes, required careful attention. The design specified two thin white stripes (0.5 cm each) with a subtle 0.3 cm gap, all separated from the crew neckline by a precise 6 cm. Centered within this design was the main white stripe, a bolder 2.0 cm band. Nestled within this central stripe, on the right chest, we incorporated KT's small, dark logo, measuring 1.7 cm in height. This logo was applied using a heat-transfer technique to ensure a clean, integrated look that wouldn't detract from the fabric's texture.
