This project involved creating a sophisticated pair of women's high-waisted biker shorts. The core of this garment lies in its deceptively simple yet technically demanding construction. The main body, a serene light heather grey, required precise fabric handling. We selected a premium nylon and spandex blend, renowned for its stretch and recovery – essential qualities for athletic wear. Ensuring a smooth, seamless feel against the skin was paramount, achieved through advanced serging techniques and expert tension control on our industrial machines. Every stitch was placed with intention, guaranteeing durability and a flawless aesthetic.
The Art of Seamless Design
The beauty of these shorts is in their clean lines. Without any contrast trims or piping, the focus shifts entirely to the fabric's drape and the precision of the construction. The wide, high waistband, a key design element for both comfort and support, was expertly engineered to provide a secure fit without restriction. A subtle yet distinctive touch is the small, black rectangular logo with white text reading 'SelFi', placed thoughtfully on the upper left thigh.
