#112: From Jame's Sketch to a Polished Dress Shirt Prototype – Our Custom Sample Development Journey

At Gold Garment, we thrive on transforming your creative vision into tangible realities. Our latest collaboration with client 'Jame' for Order #112 exemplifies this passion, showcasing how a simple sketch can evolve into a meticulously crafted Dress Shirt prototype, ready for the next stage of bulk production.

Jame's initial design concept presented a classic yet refined men's long-sleeved dress shirt. Our team immediately dove into the design process, focusing on translating Jame's intent into every stitch. The core of the shirt’s aesthetic is its appealing blue and white small gingham check pattern, a timeless choice that exudes sophistication. We ensured the fabric selection, a breathable blend of 70% Nylon, 20% Tencel, and 10% Coolmax with a GSM of 170, would not only look good but also feel comfortable and perform well, especially with the strategic inclusion of mesh inserts in the underarm for enhanced ventilation.

The silhouette was carefully refined to achieve that perfect fit, featuring a distinguished Western-style yoke on both the front and back. We paid close attention to the finer details that elevate a garment: the traditional shirt collar was precisely constructed, and the two chest pockets, each adorned with a pointed flap and a single button, were positioned for optimal balance. The visible white buttons down the central placket and the three white mother-of-pearl snap buttons on each cuff add a touch of understated elegance.

Branding was integrated seamlessly. A crisp, 4cm white flat embroidery logo graces the left chest, while a more prominent 6cm embroidery, positioned 2cm from the collar edge on the back yoke, makes a subtle yet impactful statement. Our systematic sample approval process ensured that Jame’s exact specifications were met at every step, from fabric shade matching to the precise placement of every button and logo. This rigorous approach guarantees that the prototype perfectly aligns with the client's expectations before we move to full-scale manufacturing.

This project highlights Gold Garment's complete service offering: concept → design review → sample making → client approval → bulk production.
