This wasn't just about creating a t-shirt; it was about meticulously bringing a specific aesthetic to life, showcasing the sophisticated skills embedded within our Vietnam garment factory.
The challenge for kjell was to develop a short-sleeved t-shirt with a distinct slim fit silhouette. The core fabric, a smooth blend hinting at nylon and spandex for both comfort and durability, demanded careful handling. Our artisans began by ensuring the perfect cut, a critical first step for a slim fit to drape flawlessly. The main body color is a deep, versatile black, a canvas that requires absolute uniformity in dye lot and fabric consistency.
The real artistry, however, is in the finishing. The crew neck collar, a classic feature, was executed with a seamless black finish, eschewing any contrasting trims to maintain the garment's sleek, understated profile. Achieving this clean edge requires a specific stitching technique that lies flat against the skin, providing comfort without compromising the refined look. Similarly, the sleeve cuffs and bottom hem are finished with a standard hem, but the tension and stitch density are precisely calibrated to prevent rolling and ensure a clean, professional appearance that will withstand repeated wear and washing.
Central to the design is the left chest print: a stylized wolf head logo, subtly yet powerfully conveying the 'BEAST X' identity.
